Testimonials

The BLA gave me the confidence that I needed to become the player that I am today. It taught me the knowledge of the game that I never thought I would be able to grasp. I would recommend it to anyone who is ready and willing to develop and further their lacrosse career.
J. Domres (BLA '06, Hamburg HS, Canisius College '12)

It was a lot of hard work, but without the help of the BLA staff over the past few years I would not have been able to play college lacrosse. The experience I had playing with the BLA changed my lacrosse career and life for the better. Thanks for putting in all those hours on hot summer days, and helping me out when I was struggling with my game. The BLA helped me elevate my game to a whole new level and it really paid off.
B. Murphy (BLA '07, St. Joes HS, Canisius College '12)

If you want to play lacrosse in college the BLA will make that possible. Without the BLA I would have never been able to be recruited. The coaches and staff helped me become a great player. I recommend the Buffalo Lacrosse Academy to any lacrosse player who loves the game and wants to take their game to the next level.
J. Collins-Hartwig (BLA '07, Clarence HS, RIT '12)

Playing for the BLA was extremely important for me in the college recruitment process. Besides helping me get my name out to college coaches, I developed a relationship with the players and coaches that I played for, many of whom I still stay in touch with. I would recommend the BLA to any player who is serious about playing lacrosse as well as playing and learning from some of the best coaches in the area.
R. Durden (BLA '07, Williamsville East HS, SUNY Potsdam '12)

The BLA runs a great program that really helped me get more exposure over the summer. The tournaments that we went to were excellent and well attended by college coaches. I also made many new friends along the way.
M. Springer (BLA '08, Hamburg HS, SUNY Binghamton '13)

Our two sons play with the BLA and enjoy it immensely. We live on the Six Nations Reserve about 1 & 1/2 hours from Buffalo (as long as the border isn't busy!) but the drive is well worth it. The experienced coaching staff, the great tournaments, & the new friendships make for an excellent summer. For anybody looking to improve their lacrosse skills and be recruited by colleges, the BLA is an excellent choice. Their school first, sports second philosophy is a very important value to us. We would highly recommend the BLA to anyone who enjoys lacrosse.
VanEvery Family (Parents of BLA athletes)

The BLA is the best possible team and organization to be affiliated with. It's amazing how in just a few short months they have turned me into a much better player and a better person. My dream of playing college lacrosse is a reality, and it's all because of the coaching and mentoring I recieved from the BLA. By putting me up against some of the best talent in the country I was able to improve and also see where I stood in regards to the other players. The BLA is the best lacrosse experience I have ever had.
N. Marino (BLA '08, St. Joes '09)

The BLA has been an incredible platform for local players to showcase their talents on a regional level. Without the development of this exceptional program many of these students athletes may have gone unnoticed, and possibly miss out on the opportunity to become a collegiate athlete.
Coach Bulera (Head Coach Medaille College)

Our son was a participant in BLA for four years. It was an incredible experience for him. BLA definitely improved his skills and his confidence. The exposure to college coaches resulted in him having several offers to play at the college level. The program is well run by a highly skilled and dedicated staff. Definitely a worthwhile investment.

I really enjoyed the time I spent as part of the BLA Program. The coaches taught so much about the defensive position that I play. They developed my skills to compete at a high level. We attended some of the best tournaments, and I had a great time playing with some of most talented teammates from all over Western New York. The coaches were always positive, motivated me to be my best, and even helped me with my college recruiting process. This is an excellent program for anyone wanting to take their game to the next level.
E. Chadderdon (BLA '11, Hamburg HS '11, Ohio State University '15)

I highly recommend any parent who has a son, who is interested in playing Lacrosse, to have him become part of the BLA Program. You will not find a more dedicated knowledgeable and resourceful group of coaches any where in WNY. The programs philosophy is excellent in regards to teaching skills first, respect for the game and game fundamentals. As the player enters High School BLA coaches teach the importance of having good grades, guide them through the college recruiting process and further develop the skills college coaches are looking for in players. My son learned a great deal playing for BLA. and owes a lot of his success to the BLA Program Coaches. My son was recruited by many of the top Lacrosse programs in the country. I believe the skills he was taught at a young age and further developed in High School by BLA, helped make that possible.
