How You Can Help

The BLA has only been able to grow and offer so much to the local lacrosse community because so many people have worked together.  Truly the most amazing part of the BLA is the tremendous group of people who help make everything happen.  Below is a list of areas that you may be interested in helping out in.  Please give serious consideration to one or more of these.  Certainly any way you can support the BLA would be greatly appreciated, however remember all BLA athletes will always be treated equally.  Thank you for all your support.

Tell Everyone
Help spread the word about the BLA!

Add BLA.BuffaloLacrosse.com logo and web address to your site.  This will enable more people to learn about the BLA and all of its offerings.

Team and Event Volunteers
The BLA runs Elite Teams and has partnered with numerous other groups to bring other lacrosse events to the Buffalo-Niagara region.  The BLA would welcome anyone who would like to help with the teams and events.  Topics include but are not limited to coordinating team cookouts, assisting with field set-up or clean up, coordinating team tournaments, videotaping or picture taking and more.

Writers!
Anyone interested in writing for the BLA let us know!  Topics could include submitting articles to local publications, national websites and publications and certainly BuffaloLacrosse.com.

Guest Speakers
The BLA always welcomes guest speakers to address our many BLA athletes.  This could be one or more of our teams, at a tournament or the BLA Skill School.  College coaches, health and nutrition, character development, the recruiting process is just a few of the typical areas.

Elite Team Donation Sponsorship
The BLA tries to offer the Elite team athletes the most it can at the most reasonable price possible.  If you or your business were interested in donating some sum of money to the BLA you would help reduce the costs to all Elite team members.  Here is how it works.  Whatever the dollar amount you provide gets distributed to all BLA Elite Teams equally, therefore reducing each athlete’s costs.  Say for example there were 80 athletes, if your business donated $80 each player’s cost would reduce by a dollar.

Facility Donation Sponsorship
The BLA is working on finding a permanent playing facility to call its home.  This may require raising money or receiving donations.  The BLA is currently in the early phases of trying to solve this dilemma.  Any input or ideas is welcome.

Equipment and Apparel Sponsorship
Any business that would like to sponsor the BLA through team discounts is always welcome.  To date the BLA has had success in this area and has partnered with several organizations.

Event Sponsors
A great way to gain publicity is for your organization to sponsor one or more of the many BLA events it co-hosts.  These events include the BLA Skill School, Lacrosse Friendship Festival, Lake Erie All Star Showcase the Fall Brawl Tournament and the Fall Ball League.

Partnerships
A great way to help the BLA is to partner with it and cross promote while working together.
