    Buffalo Indoor Lacrosse League Set to Begin

    The Buffalo Lacrosse Academy (BLA), the most accomplished boys youth club programs in WNY has joined the American Indoor Lacrosse Association (AILA), the best of indoor Canadian Box Lacrosse, to form the Buffalo Indoor Lacrosse League (BILL). The BILL offers a high pace, exciting brand of youth boys lacrosse with shot clocks, an indoor boarded field, certified officials and coaches, league jerseys and more. The JV and Varsity aged league is open to any boys in grades 7 through 12. Basic prior lacrosse skills are required; however no one should be nervous or shy away from this amazing opportunity to have fun and get better at the game. The Buffalo Lacrosse Academy (BLA) has successfully run an indoor box lacrosse league for over 5 years and is excited to merge it with the AILA. AILA will bring a nationally recognized leader in indoor box lacrosse to the Buffalo area. AILA was founded by one of the most acclaimed box lacrosse players and managers Johnny Mouradian. Johnny previous served as the Buffalo Bandits General Manager and is presently the General Manager of the Philadelphia Wings. Johnny co-founded the AILA with Bill Shatz,the founder of the Fire Lacrosse Club, an elite-level lacrosse organization serving the Greater Tampa Bay/Sarasota/Bradenton. Players register individually at www.BuffaloLacrosse.com under Winter Box Lacrosse. When registering players can request high school or travel friends as teammates. Games will begin in November on Sundays at the Epic Center on Werle Drive in Williamsville. Epic is home to the best box lacrosse field in WNY. Each player will receive 3 weeks of practice and games and 6 weeks of league play. Goalie equipment will be provided by the league.
